Shubhaarambh

Shubhaarambh, meaning ‘an auspicious beginning,’ is a deeply personal journey through heritage, memory, and the excitement of what lies ahead. Inspired by the life stories of my grandmother, whose Gujarati roots run deep, this festive collection was conceived as a love letter to tradition and as a way to pay homage to the vibrant women in my family who have always celebrated life with grace, resilience, and style.

For me, growing up, fashion was never just about clothing—it was about the memories stitched into every hemline, and Shubhaarambh continues that tradition of storytelling through fabric.

But Shubhaarambh isn’t about preserving the past in amber—it’s about bringing those memories forward, breathing new life into them, and creating pieces that can stand as both heirlooms and modern statements.

With Shubhaarambh, I wanted to offer more than just festive wear; I wanted to offer garments that make the wearer feel part of something larger. And so, the fabrics and embroideries in this collection have been chosen for their stories, for the way in which they showcase the skill and precision of artisans who have preserved and refined their craft over centuries. In Shubhaarambh, those skills are honoured but reimagined for a contemporary world.

Whether you’re celebrating a wedding, embracing a new chapter, or simply honouring the beauty of life, these garments are designed to become an intimate part of your journey—woven into the fabric of your personal milestones, your own new chapters.
